Using Sketch to Design Wireframes for Websites and Apps

Learn how to use wireframes to get client sign-off faster.

While you can sometimes start designing someone’s site or app directly in Photoshop, if you land a big client, it can be necessary to take a step back and figure out the sites functionality and features before heading straight into visual design. In this course, you will learn usability principles while creating black and white wireframes (blueprints) in Sketch, a MAC only program created specifically for online design. We will then turn these black and white blueprints into full fledged designs that can be handed off to developers to implement.

This course will cover topics such as:

  • What is Sketch and Why Should You Use It?
  • Understanding the Sketch Interface and Layout
  • Design Basics
  • Creating Symbols and Styles
  • Blowing Out Your Wireframe
  • The Craft Plug-In and InVision App

It includes:

  • Over 20 video lessons
  • Corresponding sketch files so you can easily follow along

This course requires you to purchase Sketch, a MAC only program.
